Quality and quantity

Okay, let me start this way.
A man went to a supermarket to buy deodorant. He saw some of high quality and some of low quality. He was told of the high quality products, including the prices but he went on to buy 3 of the products of less quality, although, at the same price for which he could actually have bought 1 of the high quality products.
What I’m driving at is this, “Why do people prefer Quantity to Quality – especially when they actually have the money to buy it, but still prefer quantity?” – I am baffled by this, really.
People buy products in quantity because it feels like there is more for long and for “less price” even when they know it is not as efficient as those with high quality.

Discover your purpose

There’s nobody in life that doesn’t have a purpose! You just need to find out what your purpose is. Without finding it out, I’m sorry success can not be your goal.
Maybe you want to make a bigger difference in the world than you feel you are, but you aren’t sure how. So many of us walk through life, feeling numb and desperate for a deeper connection, but aren’t sure how to get it.
The two greatest days of your life are the day you were born, and the day you find out what your purpose is, but if you don’t know what your purpose is than you don’t know why you are here, and it can be hard to keep going.
Being it becoming successful is not all about working hard, you also have to discover your purpose. After that you can work hard to achieve success.
You can’t think your way into finding your life purpose; you have to do your way into it. Take a mental note from Nike and Just Do It. The more we act, the more we get clear on things. So instead of overthinking it — Will this work out? Should I try that? What if I don’t like it? What if I don’t make money at it? Start taking steps toward your goals and start trying new things. This will help you get out of your own way.
Your heart is your best tool to access your true purpose and passion. Ask yourself what you love? Start taking steps to do what you love. When you are inspired and connected to your happy self, inspiration floods your heart and soul. When you lead from your heart, you are naturally more joyful to explore it.

Discovery+hardwork=success

Discover: your talents

According to the dictionary, a talent is a natural endowment of a person. It is an ability or natural capacity that we have, which may range from our creativity to our athletic abilities. We all have them, but we are not always so good at identifying what they are. Sometimes they can be right in front of us, and we miss them.
Your perception of yourself is very complex. Similar to how you cannot see your own nose, you may often be blinded to the things that you are best at. It can be really hard to identify your brightest talents and they are often in the places you least expect. You may even be very good at things that you perceive yourself as being bad at. There are many good reasons to want to explore your talents but it’s going to take a little work.
Open your mind to all paths. Because you are likely blind to what some of your talents really are, a good place to start when evaluating your talents is to just open your mind to the possibilities
Think about what you enjoy. The things that make you happy can also reveal your talents. Think about the things that you love to do.
Evaluate what you’re good at. Now, there’s a big difference between what you enjoy and what you’re good at. You might think of your talents only being things that you love doing, but it’s important to remember that your talents are often things you don’t enjoy or things you don’t even think about.
Then ask people around.
Nowadays, people use their talent to become successful. Let’s take for example,Justin Bieber, he uses his talent and he’s successful.

Success

Success can means feeling that tingle of excitement about what you do, sticking with what matters through hard times, living a life you can feel proud of in retrospect. These talks say it all. Successful people don’t give up even when they fail they stand up stronger. You’ll notice that a number of the personalities we’re recognizing this year have appeared on prior lists—like Oprah Winfrey, Tony Robbins, Tim Ferriss and others. This is an amazing testament to the size of their influence. We’re excited to once again celebrate these titans of the genre, but are just as impressed by the up-and-comers appearing on this list for the first time.
There are two primary mental shifts that occur in the lives of all highly successful people. Many make the first, but very few make the second.
Both of these shifts require a great deal of mental stretching from conventional and societal ways of thinking. In many ways, these shifts require you to unlearn the negative and sabotaging programming from your youth, public education, and even adulthood.
The foundation of the first shift is the sublime power of choice and individual responsibility. Once a you make this shift, you are empowered to pull yourself from poverty of time, finances, and relationships. In other words, the first shift allows you to create a happy and prosperous life, where, for the most part, you control how and on what you invest your time.
If you want to be successful Read about your industry and beyond.

Keep a daily journal, but do it the right way, Work out for a strong body, which holds up a strong mind, remove fear, don’t give up.

procrastination

Many people don’t reach their goals because they procrastinate. When you say “I will do it later”. Procrastination can not lead you to success
Everyone puts things off until the last minute sometimes, but procrastinators chronically avoid difficult tasks and deliberately look for distractions. Procrastination in large part reflects our perennial struggle with self-control as well as our inability to accurately predict how we will feel.
Procrastinators may say they perform better under pressure, but more often than not that’s their way of justifying putting things off. The bright side? It’s possible to overcome procrastination—with effort. Perfectionists are often procrastinators; it is psychologically more acceptable to never tackle a task than to face the possibility of falling short on performance.
Unfortunately the reverse is generally true. As the days roll steadily by, our fears grow larger, not smaller, until they eventually lead to a burial ground for unfulfilled dreams and untapped potential.  All the time, our procrastination can exact a steep toll on our finances, career, business, relationships and health. We are loath to admit it, but in electing to put off today what can be done tomorrow, we inadvertently sell out on our happiness – both today, and in the many tomorrows that comprise our future.

Discouragement

Discouragement is universal. No one is exempt from the dark cloud it casts over our lives.
Many people fail to reach their goals because they have been discouraged by people.Discouragement can take many forms and be caused by many things,by people, failure, fear, fatigue, frustration, situation and so on.
Let me take for example on how people discourage, I’m about to go to college and I’ve been discouraged on studying linguistics, people tell me it’s wide and difficult but with what people say, would that mean I should give up on studying the course?
Milton Hershey, The man who blessed us with the sweet milk-chocolate treat we all love wasn’t a hit the first time around. Before launching his own candy business, he had worked for a local candy factory. But when he decided to go out on his own, he failed miserably.

Despite two more failures, he returned to the family farm and perfected the art of making delicious milk-chocolate candy, which we enjoy in the form of Hershey chocolate today. He was discouraged by failure also.
Resist discouragement Fight back! Discouragement is a choice. If you feel discouraged, it’s because youve chosen to feel that way. No one is forcing you to feel bad. Hang on! Do what’s right in spite of your feelings. No feeling lasts forever.

Criticism

People around us criticize what we do, the products we sell and so on, it’s either they say one thing or the other. In everything we do, people would always criticize. It’s left for us whether to listen to other people and give up or turn deaf ears and continue until we reach our goal. The main purpose of criticism is just for people to sit up and reason more.
Think about it: if you can get a customer to tell you – and just you – how to give them the perfect product or service, that’s information you’ve got that no one else has. That puts you at an advantage over anyone else in your sector and can be used again in the future to get things right, even faster. Find ways to squeeze that information from your client or audience and get them to tell you what they really want.
If you always think you’re right but don’t get feedback from anyone else, how do you know for sure that what you’re doing is any good? Whether you’re selling or performing, whether it’s a product or service, listening and acting on those honest views will tell you precisely what’s good and what can be done better. Use that information to change your performance, service, exhibition or event – sometimes it will make for uncomfortable listening but it can make your product stronger as a result.
The world will tell you what you cannot do but if you focus on it you will do it.

Failure

Many people don’t know that failure is not a bad feeling. Failure most times helps you to stand upright, when people fail they get up and get prepared more than ever. Let’s take for example, Thomas Edison: Chances are you have heard of Edison in relation to overcoming failure before.  He was a master of “trial and error”.
When asked about the many thousands of failures he had when trying to create the light-bulb he famously said, “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”  But there is even more to it than that.  As a child he was thought to be dumb and told that he would never be a success by many of his teachers, because his mind would often wander in class.

When our mistakes stare us in the face, we often find it so upsetting that we miss out on the primary benefit of failing (yes, benefit): the chance to get over our egos and come back with a stronger, smarter approach. Many of us avoid the prospect of failure. In fact, we’re so focused on not failing that we don’t aim for success, settling instead for a life of mediocrity. When we do make missteps, we gloss over them, selectively editing out the miscalculations or mistakes in our life’s résumé. “Failure is not an option
To achieve the greatest success, you have to embrace the prospect of failure.

Hardwork

Hard work is finally definitely making effort in achieving your goals, aims or objectives.
For example, a farmer goes to farm to plant a seed, He can’t expect the seed to grow just like that without looking after it. The seed won’t grow without daily wetting and so on.
So you can only fulfil your goals when you work hard.
Successful people in every field are often said to be “blessed with talent” or even just lucky.

But the truth is, many worked harder than the average person can even imagine.

From athletes like Michael Jordan to executives like Howard Schultz, these people are known for waking up early and working toward a goal while other people are still in bed, and staying later than everyone else too.
Evidently, successful people are admired in the society. In many instances, they make headlines in the mainstream media. However, such people are not many in the society. Many people still struggle to achieve their goals in life. Others give up, all together, when they attempt without success to achieve their goals. Simply, many people are unable or unwilling to engage in hard work for them to be successful.
A hungry man is a lazy man

make a difference

Making a difference means to cause a change or to have some effect on something. This also means doing things that your mate haven’t done.. Don’t say because your mates are doing a particular thing. You would do it also
Look around you and you’ll see three kinds of people — those who hate their work, and complain bitterly, those who just tolerate their work and see it as a paycheck and aren’t looking for more (or feel they can’t have more), and finally, those who love their work, and relish it. The third category is a small subset of all professionals globally, but this group stands out because these are, most often, the people who change the world for the better.
When you stand out among men you will be recognized.
